For this project we had to create nine different artworks using the same symbol each time through a variety of Art mediums. I chose the lotus symbol.

In 9th grade we were supposed to create a sculpture in the round, before we went ahead into the final piece, we experimented with creating three-dimensional clay sculptures  by making skulls.

In Grade 9, we studied Vanitas paintings and the use of undertones. Then we created our own final piece, first painting an under painting all in brown or yellow, and then adding in the color later.
